Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
